Little manila queens walking tour 2019
Gallivanting! Exploring the communities of Little Manila in Queens, NYC through arts, history, food and culture one step at a time.
On Sunday October 13, 2019 at 1pm, take a guided walking tour through the New York City’s largest Little Manila in the neighborhood of Woodside Queens. The 120-minute guided family friendly tour begins in Steinman Triangle (55th Street & Roosevelt Avenue), includes a 1.4-mile walk, and concludes at 71st Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
We will experience immigrant stories and neighborhood cultural history, that have fostered contributions as Filipinos to the New York and the American experience.
This FREE tour is presented in collaboration with Sining Kapuluan educational group and Filipino American National History Society - Metro New York Chapter.
